DO IT BY RAIL
The Roanoke Region is served by Norfolk Southern and CSX. The region is located on the Heartland Corridor, a rail project which, when completed, will link The Port of Virginia with distribution markets in the Midwest. An I-81 intermodal facility is planned for the region.
Amtrak offers passenger service from Clifton Forge to New York City and Chicago (and points in between) 3 days a week.
